Silloth on Solway Golf Club are looking to appoint people in the two positions outlined below.
Greenkeeper/Labourer
Working under the direction of the course manager/senior supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience with working with machinery would be an advantage but full training for all tasks will be provided.
The following attributes would be beneficial.
Self-motivated
Punctual
The ability to work alone as well as part of a small team
High level of attention to detail
A flexible can do attitude

Apprentice Greenkeeper
Working under the direction of the course manager/Senior Supervisor.
This is a fixed term 3 year apprenticeship with excellent prospects for the right candidate.. The apprentice will follow a programme to achieve NVQ level 2 in golf greenkeeping. The training will be carried out on site and delivered by Myerscough College.
The following attributes are desirable but not essential.
Motivated to learn
Willing to do physical work and work with machinery
Willing to work outside in all weathers
Have an interest in the sport
