The Club is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the STRI's Golf Environment Award 2010 and prize for the Northern Region. 
The Assessor noted that ' For the last 10 years or so Silloth on Solway Golf Club has been one of the forerunners in the Golf Industry in terms of their ecological management work on the golf course.   The change in the course since 2000 has been dramatic.  The combination of initiatives has put Silloth on Solway at the very top of the ecological management in  the Golf Industry and as such I am delighted to announce that the Club has been awarded the Northern REgional prize for 2011'
